You may have noticed that we’ve been on a summer vacation at MG Lunch Break. And we left town rather abruptly in early July. Sorry to take off without notice. We’re back! And we’ve been less on vacation and more working behind the scenes (though there has definitely been some beach reading involved).

We’re getting ready to start Fall with a bang–a new look, a new name, and a new location. We’re putting the finishing touches on this week, and we’ll point you to our new site next week!

In the meantime, we’d love to know what you’ve been reading!

This summer our group read Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor (the sequel, Akata Warrior, recently won the World Science Fiction Society Award for Best Young Adult Book), and Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend. We’ve also been making our way through The Anatomy of Story by John Truby.

What have you read this summer?
